In the afternoon we met up with Kim and Jeff (and Owen and Tyler). We met at one of the chapels that is scattered around down there and explored for a bit before heading for our next adventure...a pretty low key hike around a couple of small lakes...Heron Lake and Something Lake that I can't remember. It was a nice hike and a good warm-up for the rest of the week.
lily pads on the lake...we did see some ducks out here but they disappeared into the lily pads...we also passed a group of horseback riders...but those were all the animals we saw on this hike.
