Shiny Golden Pickle Pirates-AAAGGRRRRR!!!

Jamboree fun..Josh, Adam, Mason, Jack, Gabe, Paxton and in absentia, Stefan...fun team, a little out of control at times. The Jamboree was really fun for everyone. Surprisingly, Josh says he wants to play again next fall! They move up to the big fields, they get to have a goalie, things get more interesting ... I'd love to keep coaching but I need an assistant coach who has control of the discipline side of it...I can coach the soccer but I can't seem to get control over the kids themselves which is really frustrating for both me and the kids at times. Anyway, we'll see how it goes but as long as Josh wants to keep playing, we'll keep letting him! He had a great season too, ending the final weekend with three goals over the three games. Good times.

Random Summer 2017

Josh and I posing as fans at Macey's soccer game...

I tried to turn the sprinkler system on all by myself...worked out fine for the most part but...

something weird is going on with this pipe, there appears to be a leak of some kind...so while successful in turning on and testing all of the sprinkler heads, unsuccessful overall because we need to call someone to come and fix this sprung leak. Probably a residual issue with our sump pump line backing up with ice this winter. Home ownership is just awesome...

Twins win!!

Walk off home run! Note that I had to ask Jason a) is it a walk on home run or a walk off home run and once he told me "walk off" I was compelled to ask the follow up question b) why is it called a walk off home run? Apparently because after the home run, everyone walks off the field...Very nice. You (can) learn something new every day.

So we got a fun game, good dinner, great seats, a win, and fireworks all in one night!!
