Josh's "Alternative" Sleeping Arrangements
Some nights the little one gets annoyed that he has to go to bed when the "big kids" get to stay up. This particular night he moved his bedding out into the hall after we all thought he was tucked in for the night. Good night, sweet boy.

Daniel's Football Fall 2012
Daniel played football for the first time this fall. He learned a lot and and had tons of fun. He is looking forward to playing flag football this summer and tackle again in the fall. I guess we are a football family now.
M's birthday
We celebrated Macey's birthday in 2 parts this year...at home we had a family party with cake and ice cream and then Macey invited three friends to accompany us to see Disney on Ice at the Excel Center in St. Paul. I got some tickets to the box through work and the girls thought that was awesome. We got there early and they had the run of the place for quite a while before anyone else showed up. They put on a little dance party during the intermission and we stayed after for when the skaters did a demonstration of their "lifts" and other stunts. Fun!
Christmas in Maryland
We drove out to Maryland and spent the week of Christmas with the Jefferson family at Kim and Jeff's house. Everyone had a good time. It was one of those really laid back, really relaxing trips (well, except for the fact that I worked alot of the time we were there...we'll just ignore that little factoid). From the time we got there Sunday morning until we left the following Saturday Daniel did not leave the house...he just hung out and had fun with his cousins. Macey got dragged to the mall one day to go shopping for new jeans and shirts and while it was a successful trip (we love Gap kids!!!) she was pretty ornery about missing an hour of the fun. Otherwise, she did not leave the house either. Josh and I accompanied my mom down to Kilmarnock to visit Grandmom's house and to see my Dad's gravestone. I had not seen the stone yet and it is really nice. Pictures to come.
In the Workshop with Grandpa
Daniel had a project at school. He was to come up with an invention to help him with a problem he was having and then build the invention. Daniel has these sneakers with ridges on the soles; he decided to invent a shoe cleaner that would take the dirt out of the ridges. He came up with the design, we went to HomeDepot and bought all the parts, and then he and Howard put it together in Howard's workshop. It was fun for everyone. And, his teacher and class loved it!
