Of the seeming millions of medicinal options to "inherit" from my mom, the Glads took the Rolaids. They came in handy. : )

July 2021 was hard. Very very hard. On the heals of losing my mom, we faced the prospect of losing our nephew to a brain tumor. At the end of the day, he went home after about 5 days in hospital to complete what ended up being a full recovery. Thank goodness for 21st Century medicine. Watching Kim and Jeff go through this was so difficult-they are rock stars.

OCC pool for the summer...we had some great afternoons at the pool this summer!

Macey and I got new Birkenstocks this summer. Love 'em!

July 4th 2021

The quintessential Glad July 4th food.

Josh and I went to Okabojee the week before July 4th. We stopped and bought a ton of fireworks (well, mini-fireworks nothing crazy and nothing that flies in the air) and had a blast setting them off. Several buckets of water, lots of laughter, very fun.

Miscellaneous

When we had the carpet replaced we also did a top to bottom (literally, the very very very top) cleaning. Lots of dust accumulated over like 16 or so years...

I tried canna lilies for the first time this summer. I loved them. I attempted to winter them over by digging them up, separating them and keeping them for the winter. I'll plant them again in the spring and see what happens...

Daniel built himself a shelf for his dorm room and then he put it together before hauling it halfway across the country to school...it was quite the summer.

Steven and Kayla brought Ryan to the midwest to visit his Wisconsin family. I had an obligation for the entirety of the weekend that they were here so I did not get to see him but I enjoyed his pictures, and knowing they were not so far away!!
