Rochester 2019
Macey, Kate, Molly, Bree, Haley, Evie, Rylie, Whitley, Cassidy... 8th Grade BBall
yes, well, there was a blizzard...my car was well and truly buried in snow...good thing I tossed a shovel in my car!
After I dug the actual car out, we still had one problem...the parking lot itself was still buried under 12-15 inches of snow.
Luckily along came the hotel's CAT and dug us out
whiteout conditions on the drive home...not fun. 2 1/2 hours from door to door when its usually right around an hour...not the worst I've ever driven in (that was spring break 1993...blizzard like conditions on I40 in Oklahoma...and basically all the way back to Alabama where we ended up in a ditch and then hitching a ride to a hotel where the only channel available was porn...ask me about THAT adventure some day)...but we made it home safe and sound. Thank goodness for friends who drove in a big caravan...otherwise we would have stayed in the hotel one more night.
Band Concert
two in one week for Macey...jazz festival and then the 7th/8th grade...she is enjoying it very much!
Yes, we may be those crazy dog people...but we love them so!!
I never knew dogs could have a "lovey" but Leo and his cow were a pair...he dragged that thing around and slept with it for months...so stinkin' cute
a boy and his dog...he loves this pup!!
I may love him too!!!
Leo invading Lanny's favorite spot in Josh's room...
cutie in my office
Leo waits patiently by the door to be let outside. He's a winner!
Lanny got a new bed for the second anniversary of his "Gotcha" day with our family...we think he likes it!
Leo with his latest toy...this one did not last very long! I was cleaning up its stuffing from all over the house ...
Leo and Lanny sharing a bone..what in the world? I guess they like each other...
And, Leo eating Lanny's ear...and Lanny tolerating it...why knew they'd be such good buddies???

My office
three screens to keep me happy while I work...
two companions to keep me company during the day...
and lots of plants to make it feel like summer even when its cold and gross outside!

Snow Falling on Minnesota
As Carey said, "that's a lot of snow!". Feb 2019...4th snowiest month on record; snowiest February ever. But, it doesn't keep us inside...gotta get in those steps! and the dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do...
clear day on one side, after the plows have been through-I think it was around 12 degrees out, but with the sun, maybe it felt like 13???...snowy day on the other...see how it has piled up on my coat and hat? and no plowing done yet... it was a balmy 19 degrees this day
this was one morning when I drove Macey down to Dundas for a 9 am soccer game in the dome...it was NOT warm outside. Any yes, that does say 291,435 miles on the Honda Pilot's odometer...love that car!!
Our rescues from Arkansas and Tennessee embrace their new home in Minnesota!

Josh and Jason BBall
After starting the season 0 and 4, including one brutal loss 7 to 50something, they came back and won all of their remaining games, including the Lakeville 4th Grade In House Tournament. What a season-way to go Wolves! Great coaching and a great group of kids!
