Flora

The last time I was in Yellowstone was before Jason and I were married.  We took a two week adventure to Yellowstone and Glacier.  On that trip I took so, so, so many pictures of plants and flowers and framed a bunch of them.  We were there in early to mid-August and this time around we were a few weeks later, the end of August and the first of September.  We must have hit it just right last time for flower appreciation.  There were still some nice ones this time around but they were less obvious and not all over the place.  Still, I did feel compelled to take the occasional picture of the flora!

We think this was milkweed, but certainly not our MN variety!

Uncle Stephen said that it was shaping up to be a great berry year which would be good for the bears...they come down and eat the berries in the fall to help fatten them up for winter.

These reminded me of the bouquet from my wedding...I had these red berries interspersed with roses and other lovely things...I am no florist so I don't really know, all I do know is that it was beautiful.
