Grand Canyon East Entrance at Sunset

 We drove from Mesa Verde to the East Entrance to the Grand Canyon and arrived just before sunset.  We all got a good look at the canyon (it is indeed grand) and then the younger three went back to the car while Daniel and I stayed for the sunset.  It was brilliant.  Here you can see the kids with the sun shining on them from low in the sky with the canyon in the background.

 here you can see the river running through the canyon ... its sort of misty looking because the sun is going down and no longer shining into the canyon-this is looking east
