Irene, the Dancing Queen!
Last weekend my mother-in-law Irene participated in her first ever dance competition. She has been dancing for a while now and really enjoying both the friends she has met and the dancing itself. We were invited to the "Dancing with the Studio Stars" performance on Sunday night and had a lot of fun watching all the dancers perform with their partners. Irene did a waltz and it was amazing. I am so pround of her! She is really an inspiration to all of us of what you can do when you find something you enjoy and you dedicate time and energy to it. Halloween 2011
D wanted to be a "really scary guy". So, Grim Reaper it was. His mask only made it about three houses because he could not see out of it very well but that's ok. We went out with our friends the Quicks and he, Eve and Macey had a good time darting ahead of the parents who were traipsing around with the little ones, Josh and Ami.
Halloween 2011
Macey loved Halloween this year. She had her heart set on being a vampire and boy did she! A friend from work's daughter was also a vampire and she gave me the pictures she was going to use to do her daughter's makeup and we tried it out on Macey. Turned out pretty good. She had a blast.
