Coloring Eggs : Easter 2009

A good time was had by all. Joshua missed all the fun because he was asleep, but we did an egg for him anyway.

Bounty Hunters

Like many 6 year olds, D is REALLY into Star Wars. Like many younger sisters, M is really into whatever her big brother is into. And, like many parents, we suspend our better judgement regarding whether our kids playing with light sabers and pursuing bad guys across the universe (our basement) is a good idea and focus on the heroism and fight for good aspects of the Star Wars mythology. In any case, they love it, and we for some reason support it. Yesterday they were Bounty Hunters and here are some pictures. Adorable!

We Love Babies!!

Photo Shoot

Well, we decided to do a quick photo shoot on the last night of Cathy and C's visit and while the big kids were gung-ho and enthusiastic, C was not really into smiling and JW was his usual baby self...a little slumpy and random (he is, after all, only 9 weeks old!). In any case, we were able to capture them for posterity in all their little cousin-like glory. Enjoy!

Cousins

Grandmom, PopPop, Cathy and her little C came to visit. They enjoyed the end of winter Minnesota weather (well, enjoyed may be a bit of an exaggeration) and we enjoyed spending time with family. We should have taken a lot more pictures, but it seemed that every minute of the day was filled with eating, sleeping, bathing, clothing and entertaining kids...a 6 year, a 4 year old, a 10 month old and a 2 month old under one roof make things fun and oh so busy! Here are some pictures of the cousins. M enjoyed hauling C around-we won't let her do that with our JW yet so she was thrilled that she could pick baby C up. If anything having C around made them love JW more, as they can see what he'll be like in just few short months...crawling and eating real food and trying to pull up. Too bad they live so far away! Now we are all looking forward to our trip East this summer.
