May 2022: Art Work

We could not keep everything...so we had to purge.  Let's be honest, for 18 years we DID keep just about everything...  anyway, here are some of the BooBird's lovely art pieces that we got rid of.  She is a wonderful artist.

May 2022: Spring Asparagus and Rhubarb

The asparagus finally took off...never enough to have an actual meal all at one time, but enough to supplement a bunch bought at the grocery store.  And the rhubarb was always a great plant...I'd get at least two seasons worth of rhubarb out of it, one in the late spring and another full one in late summer.  Such good pies...

May 2022: Fishing at Clearly Lake with the twins

May 2022: Fishing Incident to Report

Josh may or may not have hooked the neighbor's tree when "fishing" off of our deck...

May 2022: Spring Tennis

game got cancelled for rain but these boys...they can't resist playing wallball
End of the Year Banquet...Thanks Coach Strader!!
Josh won the "Love the Game" Award for the middle school team.
Parent-Child Tennis Match Day...so fun!!!

May 2022: Alternative Exits

Since the dogs are not allowed on the hardwood floors after they were refinished, we blocked off access to them with a couch, some chairs...really, whatever would keep them out... and we also had to find an alternative way to get them out to the backyard...this worked for Leo!

May 2022: Moving

Well, in this case, more like the living part of moving... our kids left their marks everywhere.  Other marks not here pictured come to mind...the place in the wall behind the dining room table where Josh's head hit it and made a huge divot when his chair fell backwards...the self-portrait on the wall behind the couch along the stairs in the living room...so many paint markings on the tables from projects...the top of every single end table where between kids and dogs, they are scuffed and marked up to the nth degree...Josh used to routinely get bloody noses as a baby and toddler; I am sure there are some can-be-revealed-with-the-right-equipment bloodstains here and there... and somewhere in the depths, one beautiful diamond engagement ring...
