Daniel is home for Christmas break!!

Family Zoom Game Night with the Jeffersons

Weird night ... these were taken at about 11:30 pm in the middle of December.  It was pitch black night out and then BAM all of a sudden it started to get light and then it was as light as day.  I could have sat outside and read my book (except it was butt cold so that was not going to happen).  I have never seen this happen before.  It was very, very strange.

Christmas ornaments for Daniel and me from our graduation tassels-what else are you going to do with them??

Aunt Margie put a wreath on our parents' grave, complete with a fish ornament and a shell ornament.  Very sweet.

Macey took the ACT in December.  It snowed about a foot.  AND they did not plow our road.  Off she and I went in the car.  We only ended up stuck once.  I got out with the shovel, dug us out, got us back on track, and she made it to the school with minutes (like, 2) to spare.  It was very, very stressful.  I may have sat in the parking lot and cried frustrated stress tears after she got out and ran into the building.  At least they had plowed the school parking lot.  When I got home, this woman was stuck in basically the same place I had been stuck and she had five grown men helping her get unstuck.  Me, I did it all by myself.  I felt both proud and depressed all at the same time.  And I was ashamed for this woman who was just sitting on her butt while a bunch of men saved her.

Got this text one random fall day notifying me that my mom had left the Beach 2017 group chat.  Sometimes grief just sneaks up on you from the most unexpected places...

The night Jason chased a storm straight up I35 from OCC to Burn and could literally NOT get out of its way.  Crazy weather here in MN sometimes.

Random 2021 Stuff

Kim and I did two online dance classes...one was just a workshop to learn one of the Hamilton dances...total fail for me, I only lasted half the class before I was so lost it was not even fun anymore.  The other was a hip hop class that was pretty fun but I also lost interest after about three classses...it was too hard to keep up with the time of the class.  But, I was happy to try something new...I was happy to move my body...I was happy to do something fun with Kim even though she is in Maryland and I am in Minnesota... so all good!!
