Downtown...the other Vegas
Which my mom said looked more like what she expected Las Vegas to look like. The kids and Jason took in a show on the ceiling of the street and mom and I cruised around in the mini-van looking oh-so-cool. : )
Vegas!
Jason took Josh, Macey and Maddie up above Vegas on a the pod ferris wheel (Daniel had been before)...they enjoyed looking over the city from so high up...they were able to get the lay of the land from a bird's eye view!
We spent the first days of our vacation with Jason in Las Vegas...it was the last two days of his vacation for March Madness (20+ years running)...and had a little fun in Sin City!
Out and about we just enjoyed window shopping and checking out the sites at the Venetian, up and down the strip, Ceasar's Palace and where ever our feet took us. There is so much to see and do! And if all else fails, Vegas is great for people watching.
We found the pigeons nesting in the red M&M's mouth to be particularly amusing.
Macey tried her luck at the Zoltare fortune telling booth while Yoda wisely looked on.

Travelin'
Spring Break 2019
Thursday am at Bryce, passed thru and enjoyed Capital Reef and late afternoon/evening at Goblin, including taking in the night sky in one of the darkest places on Earth.
Friday exploring downtown and then horseback riding in Moab.
Monday at Grand Canyon, pass over and through the Hoover Dam, back to Vegas for the red eye home.
5 states. 2 days in Vegas. 6 days visiting 6 national parks (Capital Reef National Park not pictured) and 1 fabulous underrated state park (Goblin). One big dam. A number of national forests. Too many gas station snack shelves to count. Fun, fun, fun.
Skipping on to Spring Break...
...we interupt this program to skip past other fun stuff (to which I will return later) to present the 2019 Spring Break extravaganza...
