BBall Break
We spent a lot of time on the basketball court...and some time in between games and on the road just hanging out (which might be my favorite part of basketball...tied with watching my kid play ball!!).

2017 in Summary
2017 was another good year...lots of hard work by everyone, some fun travel adventures, tons of hours at various sports venues...D started high school and started driving, M got taller than her mama, Josh learned things that I can't even remember such as how to calculate the least common denominator, Lanny the rescue dog joined our family...I became a huge fan of the West Wing Weekly (Josh and Rhishi, I have no words for how much better you make my Wednesdays) and became a "friend of the Pod" by subscribing to Pod Save America...they put ER on tv and I hogged up the dvr recording seasons 6 through 14, then found it on Hulu which is so, so,so much better than fast forwarding through commercials...we made big plans for 2018 such as a girls' trip to Jamaica for Cindy, a trip to DC for Cindy & Jason to see the West Wing Weekly live (and take Jack and Daniel on a couple of college tours), and Hamilton in NYC in October with the Jefferson/Conkle contingent... I launched a new blog dedicated solely to books I've read (check out Bookin It Thru Life.blogspot.com) and we are just generally looking forward to another fantastic year!
