We were at Kim's for Halloween this year because we were out there for the boys' bar mitzvah. I did not realize ('cause I just didn't , no excuse really) that Halloween fell while we were out of town until about a week before we left. All three kids separately were annoyed with me ...none of them wanted to be out of town for Halloween. It ended up being fun...Steven and I took the kids out trick or treating, Aunt Anne came by to see everyone (and to return the clothes Daniel had accidentally left in her car), Mom got to see everyone dressed up and all was well.

Macey's costume was awesome, she put it together herself and it was terrific. When she is a mom someday she is either going to be super organized and do all this kind of thing for her kids and be like "I had to do everything for myself cause my mom was not creative at all so I'm going to do it for you because no one did it for me" or else she's going to be like "no one did it for me, you'll be fine with whatever you come up with"...I can't wait to find out what kind of mom she'll be someday! The fun of being a parent does not seem like it will ever end which is kind of one of the cool things about being a parent!
