Back at the Lehrfelds...breakfast and bed!

How many kids can you fit into one set of bunks?  We think there is room for a couple more...

Growing Chart

Well, this is a little hard to see but the doorway between the kitchen and the hallway was used as a growing chart from way back when I was a kid. All of my kids had their heights measured as they visited.  I tried to get a picture but it did not take all that well.  However, its the memory of this I wanted to retain, not necessarily the specifics, so this will just have to work.

William Thurman Jefferson, Jr.

It was nice to see Dad's gravestone in place.  Very well done.  It was disconcerting to see my mom's name there too!!!  Not sure why they did that, but she said it did not bother her, so be it.  Someone had left a Christmas ornament at the grave and Mom gave it to Joshua.  He told everyone he got it from his PopPop who died.  It was very sweet.

Josh the Photographer

Well, he's trying!  Josh took all of these pictures...pretty cute watching him focus and try to get the best "angle"!

Josh Down on the Hill

On the Hill - Kilmarnock, VA

Josh, my mom and I went down to Kilmarnock when we were in Maryland over the Christmas Holiday.  Josh got to do some exploring and took some pictures with his uncles:  Uncle Bob, Uncle Joe and Uncle Frankie!!

Grandmom's Front Porch

One weekend years (dare I say decades?) ago, Uncle Bob and company built these steps at G'Mom's house.  Here is a picture from back in the day (I might have been 13? or 14?) with my sisters, brother, and cousins on the steps.  Here is also a picture from a month or two ago of my own little guy Josh sitting on the same steps.  I'm guessing he is about the same age as Jeremy was in this picture.  Memories and memories.
