Our rental (the lovely Farmington house) ended before we were ready to move south...we really wanted to wait until the Boo Bird left for college.  So, V.R.B.O. it was.  It was south of Lakeville and north of Owatonna and while nothing was going to be perfect, it was pretty darn good given all of our requirements.  Nice to be at a Lake House; nice to have a full kitchen; nice to be able to work (and maybe watch some The Office in between)...certainly there are worse ways to spend a week or 10 days.

Josh did some fishing...the boys came up and did some fishing...

We did some relaxin'

some good sister time... cathy pretty much fixed dinner every night...having a wife for a week was delightful....

we did have a fire one night but the bugs!! ah, the Minnesota bugs drove us in well before we were ready...still, the s'mores were good!

And no, Josh did NOT drop his (Macey's) sunglasses in the Lake and spend half an hour diving down to the bottom to try and find them...
