 curious little red berry plants

 we all helped with Macey's 7th grade "Leaf Project"...she collected 13 difference specimens and it was fun to have a "purpose" on this hike

clusters of black/dark blue berried

 weird bell shaped fungi /mushroom type thingys...very strange looking

 wild blue berries?  who knows?

 late summer yellow flowers of different kinds abounded along the Sakatah Singing Hills Trail
